Your well-being must be your priority. That long-term goal you have in mind will be meaningless if your health is in shambles. As working students, our workload is too much, and we often neglect our basic needs. Sometimes we forget to eat on time because of the tight schedule, stay up all night and just have 3-4 hours of sleep a day with irregular sleep patterns, or forget to enjoy ourselves.
Having a break is something you mustn't neglect to avoid burnout. This must be the most important note you should remember in this post "Don't be too hard on yourself, and have a break." Some of us might feel guilty having a break; they might feel they are slacking off or being derailed from the track in achieving goals.
The benefits of support and community
This must be the most fulfilling I could recommend. Having someone to lean on is a very exceptional experience. People who believe in and support me keep the fire of motivation inside me. They serve as a strength for me to continue whatever my goal is. Don't add stress to yourself by isolating yourself from others; try having fun and hanging out for a bit.
As the famous line by John Donne says, "No man is an island." It is okay to rely on other people for support. In some instances, the people around you might be the answer to your challenging problems. A network of people is convenient; they can offer advice, help, and mentoring to achieve your goals.
